My son getting high in Austria (pictures added)

My son is 35 and is a private contractor in Germany and drives about three hours to snowboard in Lermoos, Austria. I mentioned Hitler's Eagle's Nest and he went there, too. When I visit him this year I think I want to go there, also. France is two hours away to the west. He sent this from the top of this mountain.

That view is gorgeous and to be able to snowboard there!!!! I don't snowboard but would love to ski it. He's lucky and so are you. Thanks for sharing.

Beauty! I have trouble imagining being where you can be in a different country every to hours in...a car.

I saw a post card once that pretty well says it all. An old country looking family in a beat up old car driving across the desert..."The sun has riz the sun has set, and here I iz in Texas yet."

I skiied and surfed as a teen and mistakenly thought that meant I could snowboard in my 40's. I was wrong and it took over 7 hours of shoulder surgery to prove it.
