I just received my new 327 PC Snubbie. It has a two inch barrel but only one inch sticks out from the front of the frame. I am looking for OWB holster suggestions. I prefer a forward can, high ride and the gun to be in contact with my side, like a Galco Concealable holster does for my J Frame. Unfortunately, they don't make one for this N frame.

I like Galco and see in their catalog that they make a Speedmaster holster that will fit. Anyone with experience with this one?

I would appreciate any suggestions, especially from those who own this gun and have tried out some different holsters. The suggestions don't have to be Galco as they don't offer that many holsters for this particular gun.

Thanks, Vic

I carry my N frame in a Milt Sparks VersaMax II. If I didn't use that I would go to a pancake high ride from a maker like Kramer, Milt Sparks, etc.

Check in the S&W web site under holsters. Go into the Performance Center holsters you'll find
a custom holster for your 327 Snub. Thumb break or speed scabbard. Frank Jr.

Here is one from Smith and Wesson, It is made by De Santis. For the price, it's not a bad holster.

It looks like it keeps the gun high and canted which is good. How tight does it hold the gun to your waist? I like the gun's grip to be tight to my body so it conceals better.

It holds fairly tight, I usually only carry this gun in cooler weather when I'm wearing heavier cloths, but just to check, I put it on wearing a pair of shorts and a baggy shirt. I might just have to start carrying this in warmer weather.

I ordered one today so I will see how it works out. On another subject, how do you clean the outside of your gun after you shoot? What do you use as I want to make sure not to harm the finish.

I bought one of those holsters from s&w for my m327pc 327 327pc N large frame pc performance center scandium handgun. The only problem is the thumb break strap is 1/2 inch too short.

Other than that it is a nice holster for $65.

I decided to cut the spur so the holster would work.

I pocket carry mine allot, but when using a holster I use either the S&W or a Don Humne JIT slide. The JIT slide at $24 fits it perfect and the barrel does not extend beyond the bottom. I like it better than the S&W. It looks like it was made for that stubby barrel.

I looked at the don hume site, but they didn't have a 327 listed for the jit holster. Did you just get one that fit a 629 or something?

Yes, get the one for any N frame gun, they are all the same to accommodate all barrel lengths.

They are very comfortale and the fit is just right. They also conceil well. Let us know how you like it if you get one.

I carry mine in that holster.

Off topic: Notre Dame, where did you get the 2" with the smooth cylinder??? I love how that looks but I had only seen that on the 5".

I know this is a very old thread, but does anyone know where I might be able to find one of those original S&W holsters made by Desantis for the 327 PC like the one in Notredame's picture?
