Who makes speed loaders for the Models 27/28? Is it just HKS? I usually like Safariland but they don't list one for this model.I mostly use dump pouches for wandering around the woods because the speed loaders for an n frame are so massive but I'd like to have a couple just to have them. Thanks for info, guys.

455ely.Safariland makes comp1&2 speedloaders for the Model 28 Smith.I have 3. E-mail Safariland.com & ask for large frame loaders.
Regards,

Bob

I have several comp l Safariland speedloaders, but did not think they ever made the comp ll in N frame .357. They have not been the catalog for many years and thought they were discontinued. I still have the original comp ls that I bought just after they were introduced. They will last forever. I have found them on ebay, but not often. I also have some S.L Variant that are spring loaded. They work very well but are a bit larger than the Safariland comp ls. I am so used to the Safariland that I don't really use the Variants often.

I've got Safariland Comp 1 and HKS. I like them both and have had them around 30 years.

Dade Screw & Machine

Howdy,
I like the Dade Screw & Machine speedloaders for the N frame.
They might lose a round if dropped but I find them fast and easy to use.
They are reasonable in price too. You can find them on the auction sites for around 25.00 a pair shipped.
Thanks
Mike

I ordered two Jetloaders from speedshooter.de, a German Company, one for a Model 60 and one for a Model 686. I have been very happy with them. Check out North Mountain for belt pouches. Dillon Press carries the North Mountain products, as do other vendors.
