N-Frame love

Two days ago I had an opportunity to take my 29-2 4" out of the safe for a quick video on my youtube channel.
Holding it in my hand I came to realize that, as a young but avid collector, the blued N-frame are the closest to perfectionism, especially with 3" - 4" barrel length.

Thus, I would like to share my collection with you.

Very nice collection of N frames man. I also love the N frame guns; I have 7 model 27's, 2 model 28's, 2 model 29's, a model 629 and a model 627 myself.

OP very nice collection!! I am an N frame fan myself, although I do have K frames. Had 1 J frame, but they are just not my style. I have a 29-5 Classic DX 5", a 629 ND transitional, 5 M28's, a 27-2, and a 38/44 Outdoorsman on the way.

That's a sweet collection, especially to be in Austria. That would be a hard collection to put together here in the States, much less in Europe. You could say I'm partial to the N frames too. Thanks for showing off.

Beautiful collection.

In my opinion, the N frame is the no-compromise ultimate revolver platform. They are small enough to handle well, but large enough to be comfortable to shoot even when loaded with magnums. I absolutely love mine and carry them far more often than my K/L frames.

Really hard to find decent S&W revolvers here in Europe, especially non-standard models. You can find the usual suspects like 19, 686, 14, etc. quite easily but the rest, ugh, years of hunting and waiting.

That's a sweet collection, especially to be in Austria. That would be a hard collection to put together here in the States, much less in Europe.

Ha, someone understands the agonizing pain of being a S&W collector in Vienna. Cheers buddy!

In order of acquisition:

58 no dash

21-4

VERY nice indeed. My favorite.

I have 13 N frames. 2 M27, 3 M27-2, 1 M27-7, 1 .357 Magnum, 1 M28-2, 1 M29-2, 1 M57, 1 M58, 1 M520 and 1 M627-2.

My favorite shooter is my 6" 686 no dash

I like my s&w n frames and k frames that's it. But I love my ruger Redhawk. The 357 Redhawk is a beast.

Those are Nill grips, they are a Germany based company and quite famous here in Europe. You can check them out here:
Nill Griffe Shop
They are rather expensive though in comparison to companies on your side of the ocean like Altamon, Ahrends, etc.

I mostly go for 5 screw guns, so really don't have many N frames in the 1961-1980 range.
