N frame picture request

I'm considering buying either an M&P R8, or any other kind of N frame gun, but I'd like to get an idea of how tall the grips are (and the grip frame). I was wondering if anyone could post up a picture of a boot grip on an N frame (or Ahrends N frame tactical grips) next to some other well known gun, such as a 1911, Glock, or the like.

If anyone could also tell me how tall N frame boot grips are, that would be awesome.

I don't have any pics of it next to a 1911, but that could be arranged.

Here is my N-Frame model 24 with factory grips, and then with Ahrend boot grips...

and just for comparison - a 625 with Ahrend combat grips...

The Ahrend grips are great, but I've been thinking about getting rid of the boot grip, since all my other N-Frames have his combats.

Great pics, especially the one with the boot grips. But what I really want is to get a perspective on how tall the grips/frame are; which is why I'd like to see 'em placed against something else familiar to get a sense of their size .

Appreciate the pic, gives me an idea of how fudging HUGE the target grips are, but I was looking for a comparison against something like a 1911 using boot grips ;-p.

Here ya go... not the best pics, but...

Model 24-3 3" .44 Special with Ahrend Boot Grips & Colt 1911 Gov't model .45 ACP...

And to compare - the same model 24 next to a Colt Detective Special .38
