Anyone try the new VZ grips for the N frame? Their site has them and they really look good. Lots of different choices. Almost pulled the trigger on a couple while they were on sale. Ended up buying a bunch of other stuff. Still thinking about it.

I ordered 1 set of 320s in black Thursday and they shipped on Friday.I called,no LEO,Military or Old Man Discount.The next sale is Thanksgiving and I did not want to wait.They should be here on Monday.There is a picture and comment on the web site .$87.45,includes shipping.Wish I could have saved the 20% on the 4th of July sale,but I did not have the 629 then.I will post on installation as to fit and finish.

I thought the discount on the 4th was only for 1911 grips, if not then I'm gonna be upset with myself for not ordering some black/gray 320's for my 627 pro!
Excuse my ignorance but what does VZ stand for?

I assume the VZ stands for the letters in his last name. I didn't know either, so I went looking.

I had VZ grips for my 642. Perhaps they will feel better on an N frame. But for my 642, they seemed to transfer the recoil energy directly into my hand. I found them to be very uncomfortable, and I ended up putting on a pair of Ahrends.

Again, given the different shape of the N frame, maybe the VZ grips for the larger gun will work better than for the j-frame.

My VZ grips arrived today.Perfect fit they feel great.I wish they had made the J frame grips like the old S&W banana grips,because the grips are the same as my factory rubber.I will probably order a set directly from the S&W catalog.The VZ on the 629 feel and look like the old factory combats.I am unable to picture and range time hopefully on Wednesday.
