I think it's openly agreed that we all tend to name stuff we own. Like cars, guns and many other things that really don't need a name. Recently I bought a newer jeep, since I don't really have any experience with them but have always been taken pretty good care of by most Mopar brands (with the exception of a 2012 300) and I can't seem to find a name for this one. I've never really been a jeep guy nor have I really even been an SUV guy but I do really like my Jeep so far. Even though I hated my 300 I still named it, it's name was Fiona because it sounds like a pretty name and the 300 was infact pretty. The jeep isn't exactly pretty quite honestly it's bare bones and rugged for the model year (2016). Anyways I've seemed to find myself rambling, as I tend to do when posting on here, what have you all named your vehicles, guns or any other object. Maybe it will give me some inspiration. Thanks for reading and have a safe and wonderful day.

I had an old used 4x4 Suburban. It was neglected when I bought it, but refused not to cover any ground or pull any load. It is the only vehicle I ever named. I stenciled "Tan Tank" on it with a drawing of a WWI type tank pulling a camper.

Tan Tank's body went to the scrap yard in 1999, but it's soul resides in the 2000 P/U I drive now!

My dad bought a new Chevy Vega back when they came out. I can’t print here what he called it. But my friends and I got to drag it with a tractor (it would not run) to the back pasture for target practice when it went out of warranty.

I don't name inanimate objects - however, when I gifted my step daughter with a lettered pre-model 43, she named it Inara - she then proceeded to name every gun in the safe (except for the AR types). I can't remember any of the names, but she will call them out by name when it is range time.:D

I do, my old flat bottom boat that I bought used 31 years ago, is Ole Blue. Caught a bunch of bass and a ton of memories on her/him/it. My 95 Toyota T100 is Ole Red. The current car a RAV4 is the Putt Mobile, it replaced the Old Gray Lady, a Toyota van that we bought new and drove for 14 years.

Since most automobiles are just holes you pour money in, I guess it's ok to name them.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

My old Mossy 500 got the name "Thumper" from some hunting buddies waaay back when in high school. Almost 40 some years later and the name stuck.

My wife and daughters agreed on the name "Rosie" for our old Duster 340 project car...cause she's "loud and obnoxious"
;)
