The thread title reminded me of my buddies 1970 Torino 429 Super Cobra Jet!
You have to BUY A DOZEN to get another dozen for $2.........RIPOFF!!!
I fail to see how taking possession of two dozen discounted donuts is a hardship.

I had one of those in my youth. Had so much fun with it but about that time the insurance companies rates went through the roof on those muscle cars. Had to trade it off. Never did donuts with it. Couldn't afford new tires all the time

Being diabetic not allowed donuts .Fry small canned biscuits in lite cooking oil coated with low calorie sugar and cinnamon . Use a small funnel or other to punch the holes don't twist. Let cool a little before applying whatever coating you want. Videos on You tube

We have a Honey Dew donut shop 1/4 mile down the street, buy 1 get 1 free everyday after 3:00 pm. I hit them often.

So that is why I got a free glazed this morning at Shipleys when I was buying Mom's cinnamon twists. I brought it home and gave it 8 seconds in the microwave to wake it up and then enjoyed my first donut in months.
`$17.00 for the first dozen and then $2 for the second dozen. I can eat at my favorite BBQ house for less than that. If you want to pay high prices . Have at it.

Never could keep track of all these National ______ Days. That explains why the Krispy Kreme store was surrounded by LEO.

No Krispy Kreme here, so I passed. There are, of course, other donut shops both chain and independent. The independent shops seem to have the best donuts, but I rarely indulge.
