NAVY SEAL KNIVES from 1965- 2015

I had a MK3 Navy Seal knife, just like this one (below):

But I hated it. The grind was way too thick. The steel was, like, 440A. I just didn't like it, and I sold it after 6 months.

I would MUCH rather have a KBAR USMC-type knife. (Which I do have, but it is not KBAR brand).

Here's a photo of an early USN MK III with a clipped blade and upswept tip. Later and current models have a slight curve on the tip, but are still marked Mod 0.

I believe these were issued… but many special ops carried whatever they thought worked best.
