Ncstar mark III series 4x32 scope, anyone have info?

Ncstar mark III series 4x32 scope thoughts and experience wanted....bought one recently wanting some info and experiences please

I bet you bought one from Woot on sale for $50-ish. It has the QD lever and the illuminated reticule. It's offered in two reticule types. Honestly, it's so-so. It's not the best glass in the world, but for $50 I don't expect much. My advice, hold onto the receipt and the warranty card. Some hold zero, some don't. NcStar seems to be trying to change their good for only airsoft reputation. I've seen NcStar paid reps post on other boards when people write about issues. The paid NcStar reps always advice the owner of a defective NcStar optic to send it in.

I bought one off Woot and mounted it to my airsoft rifle. So far, so good. Next time I go to the range, I'll pop it on my AR and see how it holds up. If it breaks, I'll give you a first hand account of my experience with NcStar's warranty.

U hit it right on the nail.. $50 bucks on eBay... I like the way it looks, plus the quick dismount.. Was hoping it will do alright...hopefully soon I will get to try it out

As long as you don't set your expectations crazy high, you should be ok. Just hold onto your receipt for any warranty claims. Some hold their zero, some don't.

The fellow I purchased my 15x from had this very scope on it. I like it for the compact size and it has actually held zero for about 1,100 rounds. I mostly use a vortex red dot these days, but keep the NcStar around for when I might want some magnification.

The big downside on this optic is the illumination. It's ****. both when using red and green the entire lens ends up tinted. So I gave up on the illumination. If you just use it as a scope without the illumination, it's been great. I like the compact size and quick release, it has returned to zero after many on-and-off's the rifle with no adjustment necessary.

Mine seems to be working ok, always looking for better groups. Going to stick with this scope for awhile before up grade, what ever that might be.
