There's nothing funny about a negligent discharge but this one caught my eye in this morning's Miami Herald.
A Corrections Officer reached in his pocket to get his valet parking ticket and fired his pistol. There were some minor injuries due to the bullet fragmenting on the pavement and the officer waited on the scene for Miami-Dade Internal Affairs investigators. This happened outside a newly reopened waterfront bar and restaurant that had decided to keep their original name which is, of course, Shooters.
