Need a Born Date on my Model 41

I have a Model 41 that I purchased used about 40 years ago. Has the long barrel with the compensator. Serial No. 10XXX. Any help with a shipping or manufacturing date would be appreciated.

I love shooting this pistol probably more than any other I own. Really sweet gun.

Should be 1958 so it's an early one. They started production in late 1957. Your barrel is the 7 3/8" with muzzle brake and is correct (probably original to the gun) for that year.

Model 41

Thanks for the info. It has the cocked indicator on the back. Picked it up used at a local boat and gun dealership in 1978.
