Start looking for an H H Heiser that will fit. Not easy, not cheap, but terrific quality, just like the gun.

Try a Bianchi 5BHL thumbsnap holster, or something similar from one of the custom makers who advertise on this forum.

I'm fond of the Eubanks holsters. They are very high quality and still found at reasonable prices. Not cheap, but not in Heiser territory. Here's one that I like. No doubt about what it's for either, it's marked K22 down near the toe on the reverse.

This is a Colorado Saddlery holster, Heiser quality but usually at a lower price. In fact, Colorado Saddlery was started in 1945 by 4 former Heiser employees.

smith and wesson brand

model 21-36. Usually on ebay for $20 or there about. Very functional. I like that the snap strap loops over the hammer. ebay search for "wesson 21-36" currently yields 2 one of which is new and cheap.

As I recall, somewhere in my junk box is a Heiser for a k-22. Will look for it. PM me if you like. Hugh

Bianchi, in the 1970s and thereabouts, made a nice holster. Think the model number I used was 10 but not sure. They come up for sale on the auction sites from time to time, not expensive

Custom lined holsters by Dan Blocker. I bought a super nice belt with additional 25 loops for a total of 50, for my 22's. Then had identical custom lined and fitted holsters made for my Ruger Super Single Six, K22 Combat Masterpiece, M617 6", and a Ruger SP101 22. Not cheap. Holsters run $125 each and the belt, if I remember correctly, was $300. The extra loops raised the price on it. I do not believe in cheap leather. All are crossdraw except for the M617 6" which has a 2" drop added to lower the butt.I carry these mostly on my Hondo 680 4 wheeler. Big Larry

I also had a holster made for my M63, pictured. Ted Blocker holsters are first quality. They do all my holsters. Bianchi is fine, but limited in choice. Expensive yes, but that word is not in my vocabulary. I am not rich, I am a pensioner and on SS, but I do not buy anything CHEAP !!!! Big Larry

I have Triple K holsters new and Don Hume used. Triple K for the 6" K frame is $76.00 I got some of mine from Scheel's sporting goods and some from the Triple K web site.

If it's a S&W why not pickup a S&W holster?
