Could be that you need your MD to prescribe a different medicine or give you enough to use for a longer period than he has been giving it to you. Also if you wear dentures or bridgework, it must be disinfected daily with a product that will kill the thrush or yeast completely. Ask the pharmacist who fills your prescriptions to recommend a product like this, I'm not familiar with what's on the market now for dentures. There's also a possibility that anything that goes in your mouth like silverware and cups or glasses may need to be washed carefully in very hot water and dish detergent (or maybe even rinsed in the sink in a tub of bleach) to help fully disinfect their surfaces. If you have a trusted dentist you can ask about this also. Don't give up. Keep on speaking to your doctor and let him know that it's not going away. He can look into which other medications can be prescribed that may work better for you. Good luck and keep after your doctor to help you find a solution for this problem.
