Hello everyone a while back someone posted about using dry wall plugs as snap caps for a 22 revolvers but I don't remember what size [emoji848]. If someone can help me out I'd be much appreciated [emoji4]

#4-6 x 7/8" is what I use. Work perfectly. They need to be rotated frequently after they get flattened from repeated strikes in the same place. Some brands work better than others. The ones I use are the yellow ones and I believe I bought them at Home Depot, but not sure.

Thank you Notch8

Regardless of what anyone says, dry firing any rimfire with a cheap piece of plastic inserted in the chamber is a bad idea. It can easily be pierced, hit the chamber rim, and damage the firing pin. Just my thoughts on the matter.
