Heck, S&W knows about long barrels from making their Mod 41
for many years. Why dont they think the same long barrels will
benefit the plinker and range shooter? I dont even think
there is even a 5 in barrel in the current 9mm lineup much
less 6 or 7 inch models.
Remember the old Mod 51 9mm? If they didnt sell a ton of them
it was because they charged too much. Adding an extra inch or
two to a slide and barrel should not double the cost of a pistol.
