Need ammo advice

The russian ammo sometimes stick to the magnets that some ranges use because of the bi-metal copper/steel jackets used on these. ( and the steel case) Actual steel core pistol ammo is rare, and expensive, and not something one would use for range practice (opinion)
 
Agoyette, I sometimes forget that people have to go to ranges in the city. I have only shot at my own range (except for my permit test.) I guess I'm spoiled as I can shoot whatever/whenever I please. But the russian stuff is still copper jacketed lead, not steel core. Only the casings are steel

Use a magnet on the bullet and report back...:eek:
