Need dating help

Can someone help date these 2 S&W:

S&W revolver .38 US Property GHD W 504xxx
S&W revolver .38 US Property GHD W 661xxx

I could not find them in the standard Catalog,

Pictures or a little more info would be VERY helpful. Are they .38 S&W or .38 Special. Any alpha characters in front of the serial number. Lanyard loop or hole for one. Barrel length. They are possibly WWII era Victory models, and if so should have a V or an SV in front of the serial number.

They are possibly WWII era Victory models, and if so should have a V or an SV in front of the serial number.

Not SV. The lowest SV number known is SV732261. It shipped on June 29, 1945.

I believe Jerry (peacekeeper4) has misread the V as a W. If these two revolvers have 4" barrels and are chambered for the .38 Special, they are U.S. Victory Models from 1944.
