Hi all-I'm thinking of having the barrel of my Ruger Mark II threaded for a suppressor, does anyone have a suggestion as to who I can send it to? Thanks, Flapjack.

Go to Rimfirecentral.com and ask in the Ruger MK II or III section. You will get your answer.

Another option is to find a good machinist in your area and have him thread the barrel. Use 1/2 X 28 thread too. The front sight will also have to be remounted.

There is a guy on Gunbroker.com who will do this for $130. I am not recommending his service, just informing you.

Phil Flack at PF Custom guns can probably do this also. At least he said he could with a rifle www.philflackcustomguns.com or 828-252-9487. (Asheville, NC)

Meh, if you can't find anyone local, let me know.
I"ll put it in the lathe and thread it for ya.

ETA:
And don't forget, on a Ruger Mk 1, 2, and 3, the barreled upper is the serial numbered part and is treated as a handgun.
Ship accordingly!

Make sure YOUR STATE permits threaded barrels, as all do not.

Suppressors are also not legal in every state.

Europe treats them as being "GREEN" friendly for noise pollution and sell in many places. It's not a firearm.
