I have a 457S that I cc as an off duty. I got it to replace my G23. It's about the same size. I like mine alot. I can't remember what I paid for mine new. Nice shooter, I get good groups out of mine and has been reliable.

I thought I would take that route a while back, but my 457 has become my "basement gun". There's nothing wrong with the gun, I just rarely carry it. If I do carry it, I carry it IWB appendix or in a shoulder holster.

I would say that $350.00 is a very good price for a like new 457. I personally would buy the gun. You will find that almost all the feedback about this gun is positive.

I agree with topspeed. The first thing I did with mine was stack 4 different flavors of .45 in the mag, alternating flavors. Shot 5 magazine's worth. Not one hiccup. Mine is reliable and accurate. 350 is a good price.

Good price on a great compact 45. Buy it, shoot it, love it! Regards 18DAI.

In the condition you describe $350 would be a good price. I saw one in lesser condition go for under $300 on GunBroker. I bought a nice stainless model for $400 about 6 months ago. These are very nice pistols and well worth the money.

Agree with all comments, paid I think about 425 or 450 for mine about a year ago NIB. Great gun from the S&W "value" line, utterly reliable and nice CC size. Doubt you'll ever regret the purchase.

Nice gun, feeds anything. Basically a LW 4516. I have had a couple. The factory sights are plastic "melted in". I think someone makes replacements, but not so when I owned mine. The gun is almost exactly the same size / profile as a .45 Colt Officers. I'm a revolver guy now, or I'd carry a 457.
