Need help / Advice - M&P Shield Down Hard - locked up.

Gun came back today - looks good to go but I'll put some rounds through it tomorrow.

150 + rounds through it. WWB 115 gr and 147 gr HST no issues at all. Back to my carry gun. 100%

I cannot find anyone else who had this issue. I also believe it was a slightly tight chamber combined with some slightly out of spec ammo. So I'm betting it's a one-off kind of problem.

I'm also gratified to see this attitude from you. Very often people come here to complain about some random issue they had. Usually it goes like this, "I called S&W about a scratch on my slide. They told me they won't replace it for free. I'm NEVER buying another S&W as long as I live!"

OK, maybe that's a little exaggerated, but we see it a lot. That you recognize this is a one time thing, worked with S&W to fix it, and now are happy with the result speaks volumes about your character. I'm glad you're part of this forum.
