Need help asap. Looking for my k22

Im new here but have no where else to turn to. Long story short...a few years ago my wife and i were wanting to make sure our kids got all of the stuff they "needed" for Christmas. I had recently been given my dads dads k22 s/n k11068 1947 manf. I sold it to a pawn shop here in maryville tn areaAt the time, i knew nothing about the gun. I was maybe 30 or so. He told me it was a model 17 and only gave me 400 for it. I have never told my father i sold it and ive been trying to track it down but have reached a dead end. I had the pawn shop pull the serial number to see if i could locate who bought it. The man that purchased it was in his 90's and has since passed. The pawn shop will not give me the last name or any contact info but they say they know his son "Big Rich" and if they see him they would give hime my number..... it didnt sound too promising for me. If any of you guys are from this area and it rings a bell PLEASE pass this along and contact me through this forum. In the meantime im searching for a 1947 k22 in the same serial number range to "pass" as the gun if my father ever asks to see it. Im afraid he would be crushed and to make matters worse i found out it was the same gun my grandfather used to end his life...uhhggg...as you can see it has tremendous sentiment and ties to my family that i was not aware of when my wife said that we should do it to get the kids some extra stuff. That **** is long gone and so is my fathers gun. Im on a mission and any help at all would be tremendously appreciated and returned however i can.
