Need help! - Model 48-(?) vs. Serial #

I have put on hold a Model 48-2, but the serial number is 3K75323.

The SCSW indicates that it is a 1972 revolver according to serial number, but says the 48-2 ended in 1967.

Details: The grips are non-diamond targets, TH, TT, 6"bbl, RR/WO (unusual configuration), 22RF Cylinder, but NO BOX. I suppose the original grips could have been replaced to the newer non-diamond version on the gun now (if this gun really was released in in 1967 or earlier.
