2 years ago I bought a Colt Viper from my Grandfather from my Dads christmas present. I paid 175 for it and the guns in about 90-95% condition. Its stainless with wood grips,4 inch barrel all factory original. Ive been trying to get a solid price range for it but have seen some as high as 1300. Any ideas would help. Thanks.

Might be nickel Viper, but not stainless. These were only made in blue and nickel unless you have one of those rare one of a kind factory tool room experimental prototypes similar to a ss Trooper MKIII that surfaced recently. Compare it side by side with a known stainless gun and the nickel will appear to have a slight yellowish tint compared to the "whiter" look of the true stainless gun.
