Just wondering what makes you know that its been rebarrelled??
And yes the serial number is what got me wondering and posting in the first place haha.

In the second piture you can see where the ejector has been dragging against the barrel.
I believe the correct barrel should have another recess cut for the very tip of the ejector rod.
There is also the color difference between barrel and frame but that could be just due to the pictures.

I tried to find a picture showing the two "steps" recess. I'll keep searching but you get the idea...

Alright thanks, I gotcha now.
Do you have any ideas about the serial number on the butt??

Looks to me like the "serial number" on the butt isn't from the factory.

Very true, but nothing looks to have been filed off or anything either. That's what is weird.

Is there any S&W marking on the frame? I wonder if someone has put a S&W barrel on a spanish frame?

Yes the S&W marking is right back from the trigger. It is hard to see in the pic tho.

Anyone still not have anything for sure about the serial number on this gun?? Or anymore suggestions??

The serial number is on old S&W's in FIVE locations- Butt, barrel flat, back of cyl, back of extractor(the side facing the cyl), and back edge of the yoke(you can see it THROUGH one of the chambers if you
wipe the crud off, otherwise take the cyl out of the gun).
The one on the back of the yoke is the one most likely to still be there.
It is a rebuilt or parts gun if the barrel and cyl are not numbered.
The barrel looks like a WW II Victory barrel to me.
The serial number on the butt is NOT factory. It was applied by someone after removing the real number.
Sorry, but it is what it is. If it has sentimental value to you, that will far exceed the market value.
