Need Help with Date of Manufacture

It's a Model 10, 4 inch with a pinned bbl. serial number D67478. My friend just picked it up this week at our local range. Shoots great and he is going to send it to the mother ship for refinishing. Any info on when it was built would be great.

Made in 1968, the first year of the D prefix.

Refinishing is likely a waste of time and money better spent shooting and buying ammo or components.

Me thinks that could possibly be a Jan/Feb 1969 gun.
