NEED HELP!!

Trying to do the internal lock removel on an nframe.

im down to how to get the old lock plug out to replace with new brushed stainless one. The old appears to be held in with a clip & spring??

Also i lost "bolt plunger spring" where can i get one??

Yes, the lock cylinder is indeed held in by a clip and tension spring. You must pry the spring and clip back, and press the lock out of the frame. You will need some sort of pick. On my 686+ it seemed almost impossible to get the clip back far enough, it just seemed like it couldnt be done. And then, finally, it all came together. It's that close.

Parts can be obtained from S&W and Brownells. Probably faster to just search your carpet tho......
