Need holster for M&P Pro 40cal 5"bbl

just purchased SKU 178032, the M&P Pro 5" 40 cal, having difficult time finding a belt OWB right hand holster for IDPA. Want holster long enough to cover the 5" bbl and front sight.
Would appreciate help.

I have that gun and use Uncle Mike's Reflex Holster size 9. It works fine for what I paid for it.

Any particular reason why you want to cover the front sight and barrel? I have a Blade Tech holster for my EDC 9c but use the same holster for my Pro Core 5", the barrel and front sight stick out the end but I've never had a problem with getting the sight hung up in IDPA competition, and there is no requirement for having the barrel covered. I find it convenient to use the same holster no matter what I'm shooting. If you want one that covers the barrel, if Blade Tech doesn't list one, they'll make it. Pretty good company to work with.

thanks for all the leads. will check them out. I did not want a holster where the 5" bbl sticks out. most of the manufacturers want to sell the holster for a 4.25" bbl to me for the 5" bbl and that is why it is so hard to find a 5" bbl holster.

Blade Tech OWB holster is offered for the 5" barrel, I bought the IDPA shooters pack which came with this holster and a double mag pouch.

This Safariland should work. My wife uses one for her 9MM 5" Pro.

There is a paddle version of the Safariland holster too. I like it because it is more stable on the draw, particularly if your belt is not real stiff.

Look down the list for the 5" version. On Holsters.com, they ship same/next day too.
