I just put a 686+ .357Mag revolver with 3" barrel on layaway that I will be picking up shortly and I need some holster recommendations.
I need something that I can get now without waiting weeks or months for some custom job and I am preferably looking for an OWB leather pancake holster that is molded for the actual gun .
The problem, if you could call it that, is the 686+ has a 7 round cylinder and I am getting mixed reviews about some of the holsters that fit the standard 6 round 686. Some are saying that they will also fit the 7 round cylinder and then right below that review another says that no, they will not. So which is it? To add further to the problem most mass produced holster makers still don't offer that many options for revolvers with 3" barrels.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
