Need more details about my 66 no dash

I took the grips off for the first time and found some very interesting markings. I'll try to attach photos.

Other marks on yoke and under grips
48129
A larger number 18, much lighter strike
A larger sideways S with a dot in both curves if the S
Left side frame under grip
48129, another 18, an individual 3, an L, another sideways S
Right side frame under grip
A J in a triangle, a P in a circle
The best part! Deeply hand etched YPD

My question is: does it have stainless rear sight assem.? My 66, SN 4K60839 does. The 5 digit number is an assembly number and is only important at the factory. the other marks, except YPD are assembler marks. Good luck with the pics.

Email your pics to yourself, then download them to your computer picture files; then you can upload them from your files to the website using the little paperclip icon above the dialog box. They should load in .jpg format. There are other ways, if you use web hosting sites, but i don't, and how I described is how I do it.

That's a nice, early production M66 you have, we're eager to see it.
