Need red dot suggestions,,,,

I need to buy a "red dot" sight for a 22A and instead of buying one, selling it, buying another, selling it, Etc.,Etc.

What are some good ones that you guys/gals like? (just for some plinking at swinging steel targets )

I have been looking at a red dot for my son's 2206, for basically the same shooting purposes. The models I have narrowed it down to are the Bushnell Trophy Red Dot, the Millett SP1 or SP2, and the UltraDot 25 or 30. The Bushnell runs about $80-$90, and weighs the most I think around 6 ozs. The Millett SP1 and SP2 are 25mm and 30mm and weigh the least something like 3.1 and 3.4 ozs and cost about $80, believe I saw the SP1 on eBay for $79.99 with free shipping. The UltraDot 25mm and 30mm are available on UltraDotWest.com's website, and are the most expensive around $135 and $145 respectively, they weigh around 4 ozs. I am leaning towards either the Millett or UltraDot as they have a smaller MOA think 4 as upposed to the Bushnell 6. The biggest deciding factor for me is the $, and warranty. The Millett has a 5 year warranty and the UltraDot has a lifetime. Trying to decide if warranty is worth the extra money for the its intended use.

I have the UltraDot LT and MatchDot.
My shooting buddy just mounted an UltraDot Pan AV. Nice scope.

They cost but they work and last.

Bushnell Trophy Red Dot

I have had my 22A for about six years. The Bushnell Trophy Red Dot has been on it for about five years. I am very happy with the 22A and the Bushnell.

No problems with either of them.
