Need reflex sight for Model 41

Just purchased an older model 41 smith in new condition and had a new clark barrel installed. I am looking for a real good reflex sight. Money is not the real issue here but do not wish to spend any more than necessary to get a high quality red dot reflex sight. Looking for opinions and suggestions before actually ordering one. There are so many out there it gets too overwhelming in deciding which one to get. Thank you.

I have Ultradot L/T sights mounted on BME mounts on my M41 and M52. Would recommend this combination as it is very light and the 4 MOA dot is bright and crisp.

C-More dot sight. I have 3 C-Mores and 1 Ulta Dot. Get a C-More because it attaches directly to the Clark barrel.

I looked at that one too but is was too heavy for me and I didn't want to drill the barrel for a mount, rail or rings. If it works for you its a good choice.

I just put a Burris FASTFIRE on my 327 and really do like it.

If the tubular style dot sight works for you, that will be great.

I had a 22A with a Millett tube dot sight on it before I got my M41. For me, the weight and bulk of the sight that far above the slide generated some wobbling.

I have found that I do just as well with the irons on the M41, at least on the 50' target but will keep open the possibility of going with the Burris or something similar if I ever glass it.

I just purchased a new mdl. 41, its been 42 years since I last shot any bullseye, because of the economy I'm semi-retired and decided to start shooting again.

I had a small stroke last year that affects my ability to focus, in trying this mdl. 41 at an indoor range at 7 yds. I have a hard time seeing that front sight. I really don't want to go to a scope of any type, is there anything better than white-out to put on the front sight.

Just wondering what others may be using?

a cheap alternative is to take a piece of opaque plastic and put a pin hole (or a little larger) in it and line it up with your sighting eye. It will increase your depth perception and allow you to focus your sights and the target at the same time. The only problem with these apertures is they do not work in low light.

Thanks for the suggestion I might give it a try, the stroke I had last year affected my optic nerve, I lost the ability to focus the left side of my left eye as well as the left side of my right eye, doctor says I won't regain focusing ability.
