Some good news. After 4 days of not knowing where Michelle is. I was able to get someone to tell me where she was and she is safe.

I'm assuming she doesn't want anything to do with me, but at least she's in good hands.

Actually, BrianE I'm not sure how things are going.

Since I left the hospital at 10:30 pm on Tues. I have been given NO information. I don't even know where she is.

I'm told due to the circumstances of her hospitalization they cannot give out any info. Apparently there is a list they go by, and I'm sure I'm not on it.

This is tearing me apart. Though the kids seem to be taking it pretty good.

As long as she's safe and getting help I'll deal with it. I'm sure if things weren't i'd would have been notified.

Thanks for all the prayers everyone. Just knowing God has his hand in this makes it easier.

Isn't this part of the HIPAA Privacy Rule where they can't tell you anything no matter who you are if the individual doesn't want you to know. I think I go through this whenever I go to the hospital or any health provider and have to tell them it's OK for my wife to know. If your wife doesn't want you to know anything they can't tell you because of privacy issues.

Prayers again for her problems with everything and a speedy recovery for her and prayers for you to cope.

That's exactly why. I understand it, agree with it, but I'm the one who signed the paper. At the very least just let us know she's safe. How do they think children feel not knowing where Mom is for 4 days.
