I went down to Virginia Arms in Manassas today. Great place. Friendly people working there and a great selection. I saw a couple of things that interested me, and was hoping you all could help me on pricing on these used guns.
The first is a Walther P99 9mm. It's in very good condition and looks like it was not fired much. Maybe one or two tiny nicks in the finish but basically in excellent condition. It comes with two 10-round mags (bad for value in Virginia), the original case and backstraps, and a paddle holster. It's on consignment at $550 but the gun store wasn't aware it only had 10 round mags.
The second is a Sig P226 9mm. It's got night sights and two full capacity magazines. It appears to be an older model (no rail, grips don't say P226 on them). The finish and barrel are in excellent condition. The gun is on consignment at $595.
They also had a mint condition 1076 there if anyone's interested. I didn't look too closely but I think the price was $695. And for 3rd gen fans they had a new unissued Atlanta PD 4003TSW (no rail, bobbed hammer) for $695.
What would be a fair value for the Sig and Walther? I really liked both of them but wanted to be more sure on pricing before I made an offer. Thanks to all who help out.
