I posted previously for a source of .41 Mag snap caps, but it disappeared. Here goes again. I cannot find any source, even the large companies that advertise their snap caps. Some of them have snap caps for weird calibers I never heard of, but not .41 Mag!!!

Can anyone tell me how to get any?

Thanks,
Al Dash

If you are not a reloader you can make some by hand.

1) Take a case and with a Ball-Peen hammer tap the ball end LIGHTLY into the case mouth with something to BELL it out slightly.

2) Insert a bullet into the case and with a vise that has padding on the Jaws, push the bullet into the case to the proper depth. (crimp groove)

3) Tap the case lightly with the hammer to remove the belling.

4) Fill the primer recess with BLUE ATV SILICONE (hump it up).

5) When dry, cut off excess flush with a razor blade or X-Acto blade.

6) If you are a reloader, just make a DUMMY round and do the silicone deal in the primer pocket.

7) When the silicone wears, just cut it out and re-do it.

IIRC, I got mine from MidwayUSA.com.

Good luck!

I bought mine from Freedom Arms. I felt if they can make a good revolver, they could make a good snap cap.

I have both the AZoom and Freedom Arms snap caps....The AZoom are a lot less expensive and can be used for speed-loader practice...the FAs are 1/2 size and flat ended...
