Need to shoot down a pesky drone?

I believe our neighbors in Idaho passed a law that allows the downing of a drone as long as it is over your property and you are shooting within legal limits. Considering the distances between some neighbors of friends of mine that live in Idaho, they are pretty much good to go from just about anyplace in their yard especially with magnum 12 gauge 2's or 4's. Pull!

Texas is talking about enacting a similar law, but it is still a violation of federal law which does not distinguish between shooting down manned or unmanned aircraft.

I heard of an incident where a fly fisherman was casting on the Chattahoochee River and a drone flew in behind him and basically into the line. It went down and got snagged, and the line was cut by the fisherman after a nasty encounter with the drone pilot. That of course was not an intentional snag.

Marijuana is illegal on the federal level too.

Interesting. For those not wanting to take the time to pull up the article, the munition is intended for use in urban areas out of "high cadence" anti-aircraft machineguns; two loads available, both using polymer bullets; one weighing 15 grains and intended for use within 100 meters, the other weighing 45 grains for targets within 300 meters. The idea is to minimize collateral damage from falling, heavier projectiles. Says for use against DIY and commercial drones(but not military?) And, oh yeah, SINTOX primed to reduce those pesky lead emissions, AND x-ray detectible, so don't try to sneak a belt aboard a commercial aircraft.

At the Washington's Crossing reenactment last Christmas I saw a drone hovering over me, raised my Pennsylvania rifle, it took off PDQ.
Occurs to me some sort of false feed would defeat a drone. Recall episodes of The Green Hornet and Mission: Impossible where the heroes used false feeds on CCTV to fool the villains.

Interesting in that it appears to just be a repackaging and remarketing the blue plastic target practice rounds that have been available for ages.

i seen a you tube video of a guy fishing on a pier and he snagged it on the first try.
