Needs scope rings

Hi guys , I just bought my first weapon , a smith and wesson m&p 15-22
I also bought a scope ( barska 3-9x32 plinker-22 riflescope ) online from amazon but the rings that were attached to the scope don't fit the weapon
Can you guys recommend. Some rings I can buy online
Also just so I don't make the same mistake for other accessories what specs should I look for with regards to mounting other items like flashlight, laser , bipod etc.

i use the "HIGH" level of scope rings. some are too low for me to use comfortably.
make sure they are are able to be removed without having to be slid on/off. some are like that. some are 2-piece and are able to be removed by tilting sideways when the bolt is loose.
