This karma offering if for one Netgear 54 MBPS Wireless USB Adapter. It is new/in the box.

It allows computers to use a simple USB plug-in for your computer to access a wireless router in your home or office. I believe that it is commonly sold by Charter Communications, Co, for use with their broadband set-ups.

I have two of these (aquired in a trade) and have yet to try one out.

I am not a computer guru so, to find more information on this product and whether it will work with your router (I believe it will work with most although it is designed to be used with a Netgear 54 Mbps router) go here:

http://netgear.com/Products/Ad...GAdapters/WG111.aspx

I will attempt to use the Karmanator to pick a winner next Sunday on Easter. I will cover shipping in the US.

Put me in Please.

Notice that there is a G on the box. This adapter will allow you to connect your PC to a wireless router. The router will also have a letter rating. The higher the letter, the faster the speed. This should also work with routers rated at lower letters, just at a slower speed.

Depending on your Operating system, you may need to go to the Netgear site to download a driver.
I usually get the latest drivers and not use the software included with the device. This way you start with the most up to date drivers.

If your wireless router has a security key, you will need that to use the adapter with your PC.
You really should use a security key to keep others from getting to your network.

For the eventual winner here is the support page for this:

I feel like I need to buy CAJUNLAWYER a beer in gratitude for his kind comments. Of course, I would do that anyway.
