One thing that I should have mentioned is that this will be an ICORE match, but is open to all revolver shooters. The Trophies are reserved for ICORE members only, but the prize table will open for any shooter drawn. As a side note on Sunday the 15th, we will have a 5 or 6 stage USPSA match if anyone is interested in shooting both days

Match name has been changed ("upgraded"?) to be the "ICORE Southwest Regional". Same great match as MWC originally indicated.

Is that backwards? In my experience at ICORE Regional matches, you don't have to be an ICORE member to shoot, BUT you DO have to be a member to win a firearm.

I reckon either way is fine with me, but just wondering.

The Trophies are the money plaques and ICORE provides the money that goes on them. So one must be an ICORE member to win one.

Some other things have been added also. If you want to shoot two guns,ie Limited, and Classic with two paid entries you will be able to shoot one gun on Friday, and then shoot the second gun on Saturday , both will be counted for match scores and placing. Then on Sunday we will have a USPSA match. So if you are up for it, three days of shooting with almost 650 rounds. Icore match will be 8 stages with a classifier, and 240 min. round count.

Great. Thanks.

So, one need not be an ICORE member to win a firearm? (No big deal to me; just a departure from what I've seen in the past.)

Lookin' forward to it. Gonna be a GREAT match!

I believe that each match can have their own requirements. I was told that since Icore was giving us the money for the Money Plaques that who ever won them had to be Icore members, any thing else was ok Now they also state in the rule book that membership is required for any Regional or higher sanctioned match, as per rule 9.8
