I took my marlin 1894 butt stock off for a few weeks and it seems to have grown. I can't get it to fit up like it was before I started. Something is holding it off from seating all the way. I remember something simple to put on the inletted portion, then assemble and see where it is rubbing, but I can't remember what it was? Any help?
