Has anyone seen these grips before? They are probably for an airsoft or a toy, but they look very nice in person. I got them off of flea bay for almost nothing with a pair for a modern J frame and a pair for a round butt k frame. The seller said they came from a closed gun shop in NY where he lives and were replacements for real guns. I have looked at a lot of pictures of replica S&W products on line, but nothing has grips like these. Could these have actually been manufactured to fit real guns? He also sold me a pair of Uncle Mike's rubber grips for a J frame that came from the same shop.

The fit is not bad, but would need a little fitting to this K38 to look close. The plastic up close looks more like a newer composite material instead of a Jay Scott grip. The medallion looks nice up close, but has the black background. Don't know if the medallion is some type of metal or not. The only writing is an "L" and a "R" for each corresponding grip panel.

Your thoughts?

Never saw those before.Doubtful, they were for a toy, with that properly placed hole for the grip locating pin and attention to detail, however I would expect a better fit on a real gun than your pic indicates.

Agreed. They look like they would even be too big for a N-frame since they overhang all the way down the backstrap not just at the top web area.

Those MGC replica grips look the same to me. Maybe this set of posts will guide someone else looking at grips like these.

Thank you 2152hq!
