New 15-22 charging handle

Possibly the pin and spring but latch is different

I just picked up the new Simple Weapons Solutions 15-22 latch when I ordered my brass deflector last week. It includes a pin but no spring. I've got a Tacticool FDE Charging handle on order. I think you can see where I'm going with this...

I did put a DPMS AR-15 latch spring ($1.99, limit 2!) on my Midway order last weekend. Worst case I have a spare AR-15 latch spring now. If it's the wrong size I could call S&W and get one on order with them but shipping is going to be more than the part no doubt.

Just use the spring from the stock handle.

I believe the spring and pin are the same for the 15-22 as a standard AR.
Simple Weapons Solutions has a new 15-22 latch that would work nicely.
The FDE is close.

Do these handles (and 15-22 handles in general) use standard AR-15 latch springs and pins for assembly?

The 15-22 OEM charging handle uses the same spring and roll pin that a standard AR15 charging handle uses. I have bought several AR15 springs and roll pins to ensure that everything is interchangeable.

Pulled the charging handle on my credit card and ordered the black charging handle today. Thought about blue or red, but decided to stick with the totally evil, all-black look.

well i broke down and just ordered a FDE charging handle from you ill just keep my NDZ for a backup(not that i think for one minute yours will break).shes gonna look purty with all the other FDE stuff on my rifle.

Thank you everybody who has purchased one of my handles. They look and feel better than any one I have ever used.
They are at the anodizers right now. They promise I will have everything but FDE Monday.
The brown has been a serious problem. But that's OK, usually the more difficult something is, the better it turns out.
These handles alone are a perfect example of that. A guy in his garage is not going to be able to make these at this quality. Most well outfitted shops would have a hard time.

I have all your messages. I am just trying to figure out the best way to answer.
I guess if you want all your anodized parts to match the color, you should take them all to a local anodizer and have it done to your spec.
Since you bought a shroud from another place, I cannot guarantee what alloy they used or what the finish will be or, well, anything about it.
The NDZ latch is the same thing.
I can send you a raw charging handle if you like.
