Just picked up my MP15-22 yesterday. Looking for any information that may help out a new owner.

I have heard people say it is pretty well sighted in out of the box. Any truth to that?

How about care and maintenance suggestions?

That the rifle is already sighted in is an invalid assumption. Difference in ammo and differences os shooter's eyes can and will affect the point of impact. You need to sight it in to your ammo and your eyes.

Care and maintenance is covered in the manual, starting with page 26. You should thoroughly clean and re-lube before firing.

Mine was pretty close out the box, just had to adjust the elevation to where I wanted it. Well then again sighting it in is all part of the fun. Go get that barrel hot and have some fun! Welcome aboard!
