I hope you guys like these grips.

These are hand made by someone on another forum, they are fabric and fiberglass resin.( i chose the colors and he done the rest) i like them because the two sides don't mirror each other.

I know they aren't on a S&W, i don't have a 1911 S&W sorry but i'm looking at getting one soon.

Those are neat. As far as that .45 not being an S&W, it's the next best thing. I have one just like it that I can't seem to find the time and ammo to take out and see how it shoots. Just bought an older Milt Sparks Summer Special with the one strap to carry it, and I'm trying to get used to the idea of a Government Model for a CCW.

I've been a SA guy for 25 years and my dad was a S&W guy he always tried to get me to switch but i just couldn't do it.

I have 2 rigs a carry mine in a Alessi CQC/S OWB and a C5 IWB by Kansas City Leather and i love them both. i just started CCW my 5" 1911 and it does take some getting use to.

Like the grips. Here are the ones I have on my 1911, Green Canvas Micarta, makes the grip f/this auto very agressive.:DRH
