Just got this in from my FFL today. Sn 332xxx, I'm guessing around a 1974-5 according to other's I've seen go by(?). Has a mahogany presentation case with a cleaning rod and wire/oil wipe. Grips appear to be walnut. Blueing is 98-9%! 3T, white outline rear sight and ramped/Baughman with white stipe up front.

The SA trigger pull was 4lb 12-14oz when I got it. I pulled the side cover off and the gun was dry as a bone. So oil alone and 100 dry-fires later, SA is very crisp and 4lb even (a sample of 5 pulls w/a digital Lyman), DA is heavy but even feeling. This is a pure target gun and would love to get SA nearer my 19-3 which is 2.75#. I'm thinking about trying a Wolff's spring kit and see what it leaves me with before thinking action job. Thoughts welcomed -

Nice gun, congrats! I love my 5" 27-2. My grips appear to be a little darker and bluing a bit "deeper", maybe it's just the pics. Good luck with it.

Those 27's are great guns but those grips look like goncalo alves not walnut but I could be wrong. Most of the 6" guns came with a patridge type front sight not a ramp. That one may have been ordered that way or changed to a ramp at some time.
Very nice gun.
