I purchased the below item in an auction a few weeks ago, and received it today. I think I got a steal for $460 delivered.

It's a .22 Outdoorsman, S/N 669206. It's in good cosmetic condition and great mechanical condition. The unusual thing about it is that it appears to have an ivory front sight on it. This may have been installed by a gunsmith. I see no stampings on the sight.

Regardless of the non-factory sight you got a good buy on the Outdoorsman. I would guess it's a mid 30s gun.

Nice revolver! how about the grips? any come with it?....mine has non-relieved diamond targets, any K target will do. what a shooter they are. try it with good std. velocity ammo. you'll never be sorry......

It has correct, but slightly different number service stocks. The nickel has mostly worn off the medallions, but the stocks themselves are OK. Also, the above pictures and impressions were before cleaning. It is nicer than I thought.
