K-22 Outdoorsman

The rest of the story on the M&P----------------------

It was as this one---to die for----brand spanking new!! It was a special order for a single unit-----billed at $31.23.

It was shipped to Patrolman H. R. Vibber, New York Central Rail Road Co., Elyria, Ohio.

The wheels start turning: What the hell is a Cinder Dick doing with a gun like this-----and why didn't he use it---and I wonder how long it took him to earn $31.23-----and where in the world did he come up with the idea for that sight?!!!!

Then it dawned on me----the Long Shooters!! Everything fit! The gun was the most popular with the Long Shooters. The sight was made to order for those loonies, but why didn't he use it?

I decided he went to a match, took one look at those guys standing on their hind legs, shooting at targets 300 YARDS down range, and decided "Those guys are NUTS!!----I could never do that!"

With that, he turned around, went back home, and put the gun on the shelf.

And that's the way it happened---heading west---or whatever which way!

I wouldn't care who's custom sight was on that Outdoorsman, it is still unique and as close to new as I have ever seen.
Know you will enjoy it and Merry Christmas.

I thought in my sixty years of following and collecting I had seen an outdoorsman. When I saw yours I realized I really hadn't seen one before.
