New 22a

Thanks once again for all the replys to my last post about the 22a.

I bought one last Saturday, put a NcStar 4 reticle sight on it. Cleaned it and took it to the range.Put about 120 rounds through it. Only one problem didn't have time to shoot more.

I wrote a reply to you original post and relized how much I liked this gun so I actual bought another one last week...One has a BSA 4 dot reflex sight and the other has a standard HI-VIZ iron sight.
.22 are like potato chips, one is not enough!

They are nice little pistols for the money. I was surprised at how big the rubber grips were and thought about getting some wood grips for it.

I have a 22A with a TruGlo red dot sight on it. Real tack driver. Only issue I've had so far is shooting too much. I put ~600 rounds through it without cleaning it and the gun became so fouled up that the slide would hardly move! After a good cleaning, its ready for another 600 rounds.

I JUST BOUGHT A NEW 22A AT GM LAST WEAK.It does not want to let the bullets come out of clip,They just keep sticking in the clip,I tried again this time shot once next bullet did not feed in and jammed shut, Can only open slide about 1/4 inch.Called s&w have to send it back' just my luck

Did you clean the pistol prior to shooting for the first time? They come heavily lubed from the factory to prevent rust, which can cause magazine feed/open breach firing issues.

YES I did, I do not know what happened. They said they would email me a call tag thursday but never did.I Will have to call them in the am.
