serial no. puts it as a 1973. i'd call it 98-99% with origional box and papers but no tools.
It can keep its younger 4" brother company.

Like a fool I traded my 98% 28-2 off just before they became so much more desirable. I got rid of it for $250

. At the time I could find them about anywhere here for $175 - $300 depending on condition and extras. That was only a couple of years ago. I think I need to go lie down awhile.
 
Nice find. They are getting higher all the time.
A model 28 is an excellent buy in the ccondition of yours. Lifetime gun.
