NEW 627-5 PERFORMANCE CENTER

Hi and Happy New Year.
I'm new to the forum. I just purchased last week a 627-5 performance center .357. Very nice gun and shoots great. But I was disappointed in that the fancy box that it came in fell apart. The hinge that holds the top of the box open came off. Also, I am missing the 3 moon clips that are supposed to come with the gun per the web site specs. I'll have to wait until next week to call S&W about it as they are closed for the holidays. Anyone have any problems with the fancy box that comes with these guns? Frankly, I would rather they take a few bucks off the gun and they can keep the fancy box and give me the standard plastic box.

Mine came with a S&W Rug. no fancy box, but I do have a few that has that fancy box and I have never had any problems with them.

Hi, my 627 came in the metal performance center box. My moon clips were stuffed under the foam inserts with all the paper work. Shoot the gun you will love it. they are fun to shoot, very well balanced.

I LOOKED UNDER THE FOAM WITH THE PAPER WORK. NO MOON CLIPS

Welcome to the best forum on the net. Is the gun a new one or used? If it is new they will replace the clip and I would think the case to. Enjoy the gun, because they are great to shoot.
